Library Tree Brings New Tradition to Dominican
There’s a new Christmas tree standing tall in Rebecca Crown Library.
The tree, located just outside the Contemplation Space, contains dozens of ornaments created by students, faculty and staff in the WeatherTech Innovation Lab. The star at the top of the tree, modeled after Dominican's star logo, was crafted with the lab’s 3D printer.

The Nov. 29 story, entitled “Third Orders Secular Offer Laity Alternative to Religious Life,” includes interviews with several laymen and laywomen who are members of a “third order secular”—devoutly Catholic individuals who live outside an ordained religious life, but are associated with a particular order.
