The Department of Spanish and Transcultural Studies at Dominican prepares students to work in a variety of settings in the United States and abroad.

With a population of 60.6 million, as of July 1, 2019, Hispanics make the nation’s largest minority group, and Spanish the second-most common language spoken in the U.S. Whatever your career goals might be, the possibilities with a Spanish major are endless. When our students graduate, they are prepared to work with and serve the Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S. in different fields, such as:
