Gardner, who is assistant director of the Palatine Library District, will serve as president for the 2023-24 term. She has been a Rotarian since 2011.

Dominican University and the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) have announced a partnership allowing graduates of Dominican’s Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) to apply for credit for Parts 2-4 or Parts 1-5 of the ICRM exam.
The primary benefit of the partnership is to leverage the Records and Information Management (RIM)-focused content of the certificate program to facilitate graduates becoming Certified Records Analysts (CRAs) or Certified Records Managers (CRMs).
