Scheduled Maintenance items (Holiday Break) 


Over the holiday break, IT will be performing routine network and system maintenance. Please plan accordingly if you will happen to be working during these maintenance windows.

Maintenance Window 1:

Description: Network Switch Maintenance

Outage Period: Monday, December 27, 2021 from 9:00–10:00 a.m. (university is closed)

Systems Affected:  VPN, Jenzabar, RemoteApps, OCLC Tipasa (Library) We will be upgrading network switch equipment and expect intermittent network connectivity outages.

 

Description: Zoom Single Sign-On Maintenance

Outage Period: Monday, December 27, 2021 from 9:00–10:00 a.m. (university is closed)

Systems Affected:  Users will not be able to sign in to Zoom. The actual Zoom meeting service will remain operational; it is only the Microsoft login process (entering your Dominican email address and password to log in) that will be affected. Be sure to log in before 9:00 a.m. if you plan to use Zoom on the morning of the 27th.


Maintenance Window 2:

Description: Network Switch Maintenance

Outage Period:  Monday-Wednesday, January 3–5, 2022 from 6:00–7:00 a.m.

Systems Affected:  Shared drives, Papercut and Internet access. We expect brief and localized disruptions to access of shared files/folders, printing, wifi and wired Internet.


Maintenance Window 3:

            Description: Upgrade to Jenzabar One version 2021.3

            Outage period: Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (university is closed)

            Systems Affected: Jenzabar One, Infomaker, myDU, and any related system that integrates with Jenzabar One.

04/27/21 - Single Sign On Issue Affecting MyDU

Information Technology is aware of a Single Sign On issue affecting MyDU on the recent release of Google Chrome version 90. When a user attempts to access MyDU after logging on to Office 365 with Dominican credentials the web page on MyDU will refresh continuously. To get around this issue please log out of Office 365 in your browser and sign on to MyDU first before trying Office 365. Using a separate browser or Incognito window to access MyDU will also work. Users on Microsoft Edge or Firefox can continue to use Office 365 and MyDU normally.

03/15/21 - Microsoft Office 365 Outage - OneDrive, TEAMS, Password Resets & Sign-in Affected (Resolved)

Information Technology is reporting that Microsoft had an Office 365 outage on 3/15/21. This outage affected OneDrive, TEAMS, Password Resets & Sign-in. Microsoft reported that the issue was caused by an update to their systems which negatively affected Office 365 globally. As of this posting, the issue has been resolved
