Javier Aguilar
I am Javier Aguilar, originally from Honduras, and living in the US for almost 12 years. I am the oldest among three siblings and all my family resides in Honduras. I have experienced some great cities, people, and cultures within the main culture in the US. I lived in Miami FL, Racine WI, Boston MA, Bronx NY, Vineland NJ, Philadelphia PA, and Chicago IL. In all these cities I have worked in education/students. Regarding my education, I have completed a Master’s degree in Divinity (M.Div) in Chicago, and I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology (MACP) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I just started my internship at DU Wellness Center.
My passion is working with youth, education, and especially accompanying college students from different cultures in their search for meaning in life. Some of my hobbies are listening to music, playing the guitar, singing, exercising, reading/research, traveling/learning from cultures, languages, riding motorcycles, and driving.
