Jenny King took courses in Victimology, the Juvenile Justice System, Organizational Communication, and Ethics. She was born in Houston, Texas and lived there until relocating to Chicago in January of 2023.

Jenny King is passionate about community service, especially helping animals. She volunteered with several Houston-based dog and cat rescues: Pup Squad Animal Rescue from 2009-2022, serving on their board of directors from 2019-2022. She also volunteered with Animal Justice League and Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue from 2017-2019. As a volunteer, she oversaw social media management, boosting followers from 3K to +10K, designed and produced creative PSAs, and created marketing materials for adoptable dogs in addition to managing adoption events.

Jenny King enjoys historical documentaries and books, with interests primarily in World War II, the Wars of the Roses, and Russian and western European royal history, in addition to true crime. She loves to try new restaurants and exploring her new city. She spends most of her time with her dog, Penny Lane, and her cats Pooka and Maggie.
