Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacology
Before joining Dominican University PA program, Dr. Dominick Salvatore had obtained significant experience teaching in the classroom and at the bedside. Dr. Salvatore attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy and earned his Pharm.D. in 2012. After graduating, he completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis, MO and a PGY2 Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. During this time, Dr. Salvatore developed a strong interest in infectious diseases and became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy. He began working for UMKC School of Pharmacy on the Columbia, MO campus, where he has served as an assistant clinical professor since August of 2014. He currently practices in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Missouri Healthcare in Columbia, Missouri.
