Danielle Miller graduated from Dominican University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics. She went on to become a Registered Dietitian working in long term care and hospice. She quickly realized it was a nurse she wanted to be, so while working as RD she went to DePaul University to get her Master of Science in Nursing. She became a registered nurse in 2016 and has worked with many different surgical specialty patients before transitioning to nursing management in 2020. She currently works full time as an Assistant Patient Care Manager on a Cardiac Surgical unit at University of Chicago Medicine. She has been teaching various nursing clinicals for Dominican since 2018. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and hanging out with her dog.
