Kalid Loul MBA ’15 is using the company he founded, GlobalGeeks, to distribute masks to essential workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. The New Jersey-based tech solutions company has already donated almost 229,000 masks to essential workers through its COVID-19 Emergency Relief Program.

Kalid contacted Dominican University about a donation and GlobalGeeks sent 2,000 masks to campus. Kalid advises that he was influenced by a corporate social responsibility class taught by Elizabeth W. Collier, PhD, a professor of business ethics at Dominican University.

In late April, New Jersey ABC-TV affiliate did a segment on Kalid and his efforts. Kalid is a member of the board of the Muslim American Leadership Alliance.
