Whether you’re a Dominican student or from another institution, our summer session courses are a great way to earn credit at a discounted tuition rate of $550 per credit hour.

We offer a wide variety of summer undergraduate courses, including online, hybrid and traditional classroom offerings. Six-week courses are offered during two sessions:

  • Summer Session I: May 13-June 24
  • Summer Session II: July 1-August 12
Course Offerings

Most of our summer courses are taught by our regular, full-time faculty members. Many of the undergraduate courses may be suitable for transfer credit at other institutions. Students should check with their institution about whether Dominican courses may be accepted for credit.

Registering for Summer Courses

Current Dominican students who have been cleared by their advisor can register through myDU.

Students from other institutions must first fill out an online application providing basic information to be eligible to sign up for courses.

Registration will open April 5, 2019. The deadline to add a class for Summer Session I is May 20. The deadline to add a class for Summer Session II is July 9. View the full academic calendar.

*The registration process cannot be completed without the Statement of Good Standing or an official transcript. The university reserves the right at any point not to recognize as registered any student who does not present a Statement of Good Standing or a current transcript.
