Why I Work in DU Admission

The reason I choose to work at Dominican is because of the camaraderie and common goals of everyone on campus. The faculty and staff at Dominican inspires students to achieve those goals. I particularly like the great student to faculty ratio, as I feel this is very important in getting every student involved in the classroom with the hope of reaching their full potential. The “small community feel” that Dominican University possesses makes it easy for me to speak and represent this exceptional school.

Hobbies/Interests

Traveling, coaching and watching soccer, and also researching odd facts and useless information. On a day off I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two boys, Camden and Lucas.

Why I work in DU Admission

I loved my experience at DU. During my time as a student I was able to make great connections with students and faculty. It gave me a unique college experience that I hoped other students would be able to have. I used to be a student ambassador and loved making connections with perspective students. My college decision process was memorable because of my counselor at Dominican, and I hope to help students through the process.

Why I Work in DU Admission

In 2003 I left a fast-paced career in advertising to enroll as a full-time, adult student at Dominican University. As an alumna, faculty member, academic advisor, and co-director of several intercultural programs, I have developed and maintained strong relationships with students and with numerous departments across the university. I have a deep understanding of the Dominican brand—its mission, culture and traditions—and a passion for working with local and international students.

Hobbies/Interests

Working out, running and adventure sports. On a day off I enjoy playing golf, exploring second-hand bookstores, relaxing with a glass of wine and solitude.
