The Community College Partnerships listed below are designed to create a smooth and seamless process by which eligible community college (CC) students will be able to complete a baccalaureate degree at Dominican University (DU).  An integral part of the Degree Completion Agreements is DU’s acceptance, in its entirety, of an associate’s degree earned at the CC for up to sixty-eight (68) hours of transfer credit.  Among these hours, a student may transfer in no more than fifty percent (50%) of the chosen major at DU.  It is further anticipated that students will fulfill the General Education Core Curriculum (GECC) at their CC before enrolling at DU in accordance with the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) to insure further course waivers.

Students may apply at any time during their attendance at a participating CC; it is recommended that students intending to earn an associate’s degree apply for admission to DU at least one semester prior to graduating from CC.
