MBA/MSW Programs

Some communication students continue at Dominican to earn an MBA or Master of Business Administration degree, a valuable asset in many corporate communication careers, while others earn a MSW or Master of Social Work degree to engage in more interpersonal communication careers.

Employers in corporate communications welcome the MBA credential. Qualified students can begin work in Dominican’s Brennan School of Business while they are still undergraduates. Students take one graduate course each semester during their senior year, reducing the time required to complete the MBA degree.

Students interested in working for human services, non-profits, and government agencies can apply for the MSW credential. Qualified students can begin work in Dominican’s College of Applied Social Sciences while an undergraduate. Students take one graduate course each semester during their senior year, reducing the time required to complete the MSW degree.
