Spend a year or more in relationship with communities and organizations that share this vision of the world. Grow personally, professionally and spiritually in a community of like-minded individuals. Discover new opportunities to make meaningful change.
Service placements can include positions in areas like:
- Nursing/healthcare
- Education/teaching
- Social work/social services
- English as a second language instruction
- Public policy/advocacy
- Refugee resettlement
- Elder care
- Mentoring and tutoring services
And many more!
Each year, Dominican graduates commit a year or more to post-graduate service through programs such as the Dominican Volunteers, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, L'Arche, Jesuit Volunteer Corps and others, in both faith-based and secular settings. University Ministry also hosts a post-graduate service panel each fall semester, and staff are available for ongoing support each spring.
