Changing the world starts with our own community, and as a student here, you’ll have opportunities to lead.

When Dominican and the Village of River Forest discussed a partnership to fight racial injustice, our students went before the village board to successfully advocate for its formation. And it was student leaders working together at Dominican’s Center for Cultural Liberation who brought the campus community together to take a stand for Black lives in a Walk of Solidarity. One of them, Carlos Benitez, says of the goal: “We should, as students, stick together, lift each other up and make sure all the voices are heard.”
