Student Learning Goals

  • Ethics, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability. Students will evaluate ethical issues, social responsibility and sustainability practices in fashion and develop strategies that promote equity and environmental care.
  • Professional Development. Students will demonstrate professional and technical readiness by contributing effectively as team members and leaders in diverse environments, supported by strong communication skills and a well-developed portfolio.
  • Aesthetics and Creative Thinking. Students will apply creative thinking and the design process to develop original and cohesive fashion and merchandising concepts that reflect market trends and consumer needs.
  • Critical Thinking. Students will analyze fashion-related issues and compare different perspectives across cultural, social and historical contexts.
  • Industry Processes and Global Interdependence. Students will examine industry processes and explain how global interdependence, politics, economics and culture influence the fashion system.
