Our University mission statement affirms that as a Sinsinawa Dominican–sponsored institution, we prepare students to pursue truth, to give compassionate service, and to participate in the creation of a more just and humane world. The vision animating our mission claims that we will be an innovative leader in empowering graduates from diverse backgrounds to meet the challenges of an increasingly interdependent world. This year’s Caritas Veritas Symposium explores interdependence. It focuses on the ways in which truth finds expression and is challenged in communities both local and global. Together, we will consider the ways in which we can study, articulate and share our collective wisdom in networks.
