Application Workshops

Sign up for a 30-minute time slot during which a graduate recruiter will answer questions on the application process and materials. You’ll have the opportunity to email application materials (resume and personal statement) ahead of time for our recruiter to review. Sessions will be held via Zoom. A link will be sent to your email address prior to the session.

Canvas Workshops

This workshop will demonstrate Canvas, the Dominican University Learning Management System (LMS). During the workshop, a graduate recruiter will show how Canvas is utilized by Dominican faculty and students and will answer questions about the academic program.

Undergraduate Students

Admitted Student Day
April 26, 2024

Admitted students are invited to campus to learn more about Dominican University. Students will be able to attend sample first year seminar sessions while families can learn from other parents and guardians the successes and struggles they've had to get their students to and through college. Students and families together will also learn about the financial aid process, departments and services on campus and take full tours.

Financial Aid Week
May 14-18 and May 28-June 1, 2024
Appointments available in-person, on Zoom or by phone

Financial Aid Week is an opportunity for admitted students to receive individual financial aid consultations. Admissions Counselors will meet with students to explain their financial aid awards, out of pocket costs, and payment plan options. This event is for students who have received their official financial aid awards.

Dominican Star Summer STEM Institute
August 19-21, 2024
On campus, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The Dominican Star Summer STEM Institute is an ideal gateway experience as you get ready to begin your college career. This free 3-day in-person experience will prepare you for the rigor of your education at Dominican through mentoring, community building and hands-on lab experiences. Any STEM-interested student is encouraged to apply.

Led by Dominican's Financial Aid & Enrollment Services Office, this virtual workshop is for admitted graduate students who need assistance in completing the FAFSA, as well as those who have already submitted the FAFSA.
