The votes are in: Dominican University is a winner in the transit ad game.

The university’s 2022 out-of-home ad campaign cruised to first place in the Creativity category of the 2022 Chicago Transit Awards presented by Adsposure, a nationwide transit advertising firm. 

Voted on by the public, the Creativity Award recognizes ads that “use transit as a canvas to showcase what’s possible with the medium.”

Dominican’s ads, featured on billboards, the CTA and buses throughout the area, built awareness of the university’s graduate programs and the return on investment they offer. The ads recognized by Adsposure featured Dominican students and appeared on Pace buses in June and July 2022. 

The campaign was created by Marty Carlino, Fran Gregory, Stephanie Kubas, and Ryan Pagelow in Dominican’s Office of Marketing and Communications.

“I am incredibly proud of the creative work developed by our office,” said Kubas, executive director of marketing and communications. “Our team is dedicated to showcasing the Dominican story and is talented in its ability to shape a story through written word and visuals. We’re honored that this award recognizes that ability.”

This is the second year that Adsposure has presented transit awards to campaigns in nine large cities across the country.
