Open Enrollment 2022
Open Enrollment: Monday, November 8 through Friday, November 19, 2021.

We are pleased to announce that there will be no rate increase for our Blue Cross Blue Shield medical coverage for 2022. Our dental insurance premiums will increase by 5.7%. We are maintaining our coverage through MetLife for 2022.

Please review the Dominican University 2022 Benefits Guide for summary plan details. The monthly rates for employees can be found on page 20 of the Benefits Guide. Or, for your convenience, you may also view the Medical and Dental Insurance Rates for 2022 (pdf)

Key Points of Note for 2022
  • We are maintaining three health care plans (PPO, HDHP and HMO) with Blue Cross Blue Shield. The university made no changes to the plan options from 2021.
  • Vision care is still included as part of BCBS healthcare coverage. Here is a short video outlining the plans.
  • Benefits enrollment will be managed online through Paycor. No action is required if you are not making any changes. However, we encourage you to carefully review and confirm all of your plan choices.
  • If you are enrolled in a flexible spending account, you must re-enroll for 2022 if you wish to continue. Enrollment will once again be part of the online process through Paycor.
  • Reminder: all updated elections must be submitted by Friday, November 19, 2021.
Beneficiary Confirmation

For most of our benefit eligible employees, we only have paper copies of their beneficiary designation. Paycor now has the ability to capture that information so we are asking that all benefit eligible employees log into Paycor and add or update beneficiary designations as needed.
