We Prepare Students to Launch their Careers

Dominican University offers undergraduate and graduate programs rooted in experiential learning and our challenging, values-based curriculum provides real-world skills. By partnering with Dominican, employers have access to a workforce that is highly capable and career ready. The Office of Career Programs and Employer Relations is the central career office on campus and works directly with employers to recruit undergraduate and graduate talent.

Recruitment Opportunities at Dominican

At Dominican University, employers have the opportunity to attend events that allow for professional interaction with students.

Career Fair

Each fall and spring, the Office of Career Programs & Employer Relations hosts a Career Fair that welcomes students from all majors. This event typically attracts more than 800 attendees each semester and provides an excellent opportunity to connect with undergraduate and graduate students.

Mock Interview Event

The Career Development 200 course’s Mock Interview Event is a great opportunity to network with sophomores and juniors. Students are paired with volunteers from employer partner organizations for a mock interview, allowing the students to practice their interviewing skills. Questions are provided.

Employer Visits

Dominican University offers employers the opportunity to connect directly with students through virtual employer visits. Presented in a webinar format, employers can provide an overview of their organization, how they recruit employees and more. This is followed by student questions.
