I am an Associate Professor in the Political Science Department at Dominican University. My primary fields of research and teaching are international relations and comparative politics. My particular emphasis is on foreign policy analysis, international security studies, and more recently European politics. I also am the director of the Interfaith Studies minor, as well as a contributor to the Film Studies minor.

I received my Ph.D. in political science from Northern Illinois University in May 2013. Prior to that, I did my MA in International Affairs at American University's School of International Service in Washington DC while briefly working for the United States Department of State.
