Ebonie Adams, MSN, RN joined Dominican University as an Adjunct Instructor in 2019. She is passionate about Maternal & Child Health and Education.
Ebonie has ten years of labor and delivery/NICU nursing experience and has recently merged her love for L&D with education to teach our future generation of nurses.

Ebonie began her nursing journey at City Colleges of Chicago-Malcolm X in 2011 where she received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing. She completed her BSN at the University of Phoenix in 2013. Ebonie obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2017. She has clinical experience in Telemetry, ICU, Correctional Nursing, Maternal/Child, Neonatal ICU, and nursing education.

She is currently a Nurse Coordinator for an area children's hospital. Over the years she has found a great passion working with vulnerable patient populations and teaching new nurses.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three children, Caleb, Kai, and Amirah, and their two rescue dogs. During her downtime, she enjoys camping, binging on Netflix, or adding items to her Amazon cart!
