Professor Lammie has been with the Department of Nutrition Sciences as an Adjunct Faculty member since the fall of 2022. Before returning to his alma mater, he served as an Adjunct Professor and Chef Instructor at the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago from 2017-2019. Full time, Professor Lammie is a National Project Manager with the Cooperative Studies Program (CSP) - a national clinical research program supported by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), focusing on the design and conduct of multisite clinical trials. His responsibilities are to serve as the principal figure for all administrative functions for the multi-site clinical trials assigned to his portfolio. Mr. Lammie also works on a number of CSP committees which focus on improve organizational outputs and streamlining operations to improve the work of the program. Professor Lammie holds a Master’s in Public Health & Health Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Dominican University in River Forest, IL.
