Clodagh Weldon, M.A., D.Phil. (Oxon) is Professor of Theology, Director of Oxford Study Abroad, Co-Interim VP for Mission and Ministry, and former Co-Director of the Mazzuchelli Scholars Honors Program at Dominican University. Originally from Blackpool on the northwest coast of England, Weldon earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Theology from the University of Oxford, and has been at Dominican since 2000. She is a two-time recipient of Dominican University’s Mother Evelyn Murphy Excellence in Teaching Award, and is featured as a case study of highly effective undergraduate teaching in Barbara Walvoord’s Teaching and Learning in College Introductory Religion Courses (Blackwell, 2008). She has taught in many programs for the Archdiocese of Chicago, including the Chicago Catholic Scripture School and Essential Catholicism for Thinking Adults, and has served as a teaching mentor to Martin Marty Junior Fellows at the University of Chicago. In 2023, she was appointed to the Strategic Advisory Board of The Centre for Catholic Education, Research and Religious Literacy (CERRL) at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, England. 

Weldon is the author of Fr. Victor White O.P.: The Story of Jung’s White Raven (Scranton University Press, 2007) and co-editor, with Kelly Bulkeley, of Teaching Jung (Oxford University Press/American Academy of Religion Teaching Series, 2011). Weldon serves as a peer reviewer for International Journal of Jungian Studies. She was a Visiting Research Scholar at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford in Trinity term 2010.
