Anne Deeter is the Executive Director of Planning, Grants and Foundation Relations. She is responsible for leading Dominican’s government, foundation and corporate grant management and advancement program, building partnerships and securing investments in support of university strategic priorities. She coordinates the grants cycle across all phases, from pre-award development to post-award management and reporting. Ms. Deeter leads the university’s strategic, integrated planning efforts, ensuring the development and progress monitoring of the strategic plan. She joined Dominican University in 2011 and has served the university in a variety of roles, including Director of Continuous Improvement in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and most recently as Executive Director of Planning and Special Assistant to the President. 

Prior to Dominican, Anne served as an independent evaluation, assessment and accreditation consultant to universities and non-profit agencies for over 15 years. Anne began her career in student affairs and higher education administration, holding senior leadership positions, including Dean of Students at Rosary College. She held other student affairs roles at  Case Western Reserve University, Baldwin-Wallace University, and Harper College. 

She holds a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Norbert College and a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Bowling Green State University. Anne lives in Park Ridge and enjoys spending time with family, friends and visiting her daughter, son and daughter-in-law who live across the country and the world.
