CAST PROFILES

Nina Dolan (Elvira Condomine) is ecstatic to be making her Dominican University Theatre Arts debut! Nina has been performing since the age of four and is currently studying Theatre Arts Performance and Film. Her most notable roles have been Mary Lennox in the Secret Garden, Evelyn in Close Ties, Sister Clarissa in Over the Tavern, Holly in The Wedding Singer and Velma Kelly in Chicago. This fall she will embark on creative producing and acting in her first feature film with Kernel Productions and Mondo Pictures. She would like to thank her deeply loved family, friends and mentors for encouraging her and supporting her dreams.

 

Jake Gartung (Charles Condomine) is excited to be returning to the Dominican University stage! Previously, he was seen as a guest artist in DU’s production of The Prom. Recent credits include the EFCT Patchwork Festival. As a recent graduate of Aurora University, he has been seen on stage as Franklin Shepard in Merrily We Roll Along and Judge Brack in Hedda Gabler. Jake would like to send many thanks and much love to everyone who has supported him over the years. We hope you enjoy the show!

 

Taylor Hart (Dr. George Bradman) is a junior majoring in Communications with a minor in Theatre Arts. He’s happy and also nervous about being in his first play. He’s so excited to work with such cool peers with varying experience in the theatre, and is grateful for the experience of working alongside them. He’s sending a big hug and thanks to Krista Hansen and all his peers in this production for being such great workmates and has loved seeing their work come alive on stage.

 

Anna Meyer (Ruth Condomine) has been in various community theatre productions back in Mississippi. As a Theatre Arts major at Dominican University, she has been part of various performances including The Prom, Retrospective Revue, and A Midsummer Night’s Cirque, as well as various others. She’d like to give thanks to her parents for raising her, Krista Hansen for giving her a chance to be in this production, and all of her wonderful cast mates for making this such a fun and enjoyable process. 

 

Anisa Rosado (Madame Arcati) is a senior at Dominican University and is majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Theatre Arts. Blithe Spirit is Anisa's fifth show at DU. Special thanks to her family, friends, castmates, and production staff for their endless support and guidance! She has had an amazing time throughout the rehearsal process and hopes the audience enjoys the ectoplasm.

 

Eliza Santiago (Understudy for Ruth Condomine and Edith) is a freshman studying Theatre Arts and is thrilled to be part of Blithe Spirit. Past shows include: The Prom (Ensemble) and Revengers Tragedy (Hippolito). She would like to thank the cast, stage crew and costume shop for their work on Blithe Spirit and her friends and family for always staying by her side and helping her dreams come true no matter how crazy they can seem. :3

 

Khristian Summerall (Mrs. Violet Bradman) is a junior studying Theatre Arts and is feeling quite excited to be a part of Blithe Spirit. Khristian has been part of a few performances, including: The Prom, Retrospective Revue, and A Midsummer Night’s Cirque. She would like to give thanks to her mother for always being in her corner and pushing her to be her best. She hopes the audience will be shaking in their seats!

 

Jenny Yaccino (Edith/Understudy for Mrs. Violet Bradman), a senior Theatre Arts major, is a theatre veteran who has been performing in various operettas, musicals, and plays since the age of six. Some of her notable roles are Scuttle the Seagull in The Little Mermaid, Essie in You Can’t Take It with You, Wiesel in the second ever all-girls production of Newsies, and multiple roles including Messenger in the world-premiere of The Morrigan. Jenny is also a former competition dancer, whose specialty is tap dance.
