Alyce Jackson MLIS ’03
, Manager of Programming at the Peoria Public Library, is fighting censorship by challenging nationwide book bans. As chair of the Central Illinois Reads Committee, Alyce is teaming up with Central Illinois libraries to stress the importance of the freedom to read. 

Alyce has served the Peoria Public Library since 1998. She has held numerous roles including Children's Librarian, Branch Manager and Coordinator of Children's Services.
