Zach Musil MLIS ’13 has been appointed the director of the Tinley Park Public Library. He previously served as Tinley Park's assistant administrator and interim director.

Prior to joining the Tinley Park Public Library, Zach served as Acorn Public Library District’s director for four years. He began his career at Acorn in 2013 as a reader’s advisory assistant and quickly advanced to serve Acorn as reference librarian and subsequently as adult services manager.

Zach graduated with a BA from Carroll College in English and religious studies and went on to earn an MA in English from Loyola University Chicago. Librarianship, therefore, was a natural fit for Zach, who earned his Master of Library and Information Science from Dominican University in 2013.
