Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA) announced that Lynn O’Mara ’78 has been promoted to Vice President of Administration and Programs. Lynn has been with NNDA for the past four years as Director of Communications. 



A diverse business professional, Lynn has public sector experience working for the State of Nevada that included regulatory oversight, grants management, and facilitating the development and passage of state legislation. Her private sector experience includes working as Director of Corporate Communications for a Nasdaq microelectronics company focused on defense electronics. 



Lynn began her career as a registered dietitian and worked for both large teaching and small community hospitals. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican University. 



NNDA celebrates its 40th anniversary in July. The organization is the first and oldest regional development authority established in Nevada.
