Romney Cirillo ’08, owner of Something Fishy Inc. and Mobile Aquatic Therapy, filmed a video on campus that thanked medical professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch now.

"I am proud that Mobile Aquatic Therapy is being utilized as a safe and much-needed distraction for patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic," said Romney. "I hope you enjoy the video as I feel it does an excellent job of showcasing the beautiful Parmer Hall facilities."

Romney started his custom aquarium business, playfully called Something Fishy Inc., in his dorm room. A decade—and lots of success—later, Romney has given back to the university where his hobby and business degree collided. In 2018, Romney installed a new state-of-the-art tank in the neuroscience research lab.

"To come back to campus with a purpose has just been so rewarding. It's amazing," Romney said, adding that he recruits DU interns to work with his company. "And to be able to tell people I'm helping out the neuroscience program at Dominican University, there's nothing better."

Romney was the 2018 recipient of the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award.
