Beth Goncher ’93 has been hired as the executive director of the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She assumed her new position on January 7.



Beth will be serving in her position at the chamber as she also consults with her own company, Serenity Lane Enterprises. At her business management consultancy, Beth assists local businesses with developing operations plans to build long-term growth.



After graduating from Rosary College with degrees in English Literature and Sociology, Beth moved to Silicon Valley and worked in human resources. She eventually returned to Illinois and spent two decades working as District Director and Campaign Manager for two elected officials (State Representative Tim Schmitz & Congressman Randy Hultgren).



After working at the American Psychological Association in Washington, DC, Beth returned to Illinois in 2019. An enthusiastic supporter of the performing arts, she has appeared on stage in many regional productions.
