Leyden High School Dist. 212 Board of Education hired Eve Muñoz MAT ’07, MAEA ’09 to be the newest dean of students in the district. Her first day on the job was Friday, Aug. 9.



Eve knows many students and families at West Leyden from her time serving as the principal at Riley Intermediate School at Berkeley School Dist. 87 in Northlake. From there, she served Streamwood High School as the divisional chair for the Academy of World Languages and International Studies.



Eve earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from DeVry University with a concentration in business operations. After working in the private sector, she went back to school and earned two master's degrees from Dominican University in teaching and educational administration. She is pursuing her doctoral degree at DePaul University.
