Ann Wach-Tomory ’01, a program integrity and evaluation specialist with the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board, has been honored with an RRB “Award for Excellence” in the performance of her duties.

An RRB employee since 2011, Ann was cited as a “valuable resource” who is a “very conscientious, dependable, and hardworking employee.” She graduated from Dominican University in 2001 with a degree in Communications and Fashion Merchandising.

The award, the most prestigious granted by the agency to its employees, was given in recognition of Ann's outstanding contributions toward meeting the agency’s mission, and for the excellence she brings to public service. An independent Federal agency headquartered in Chicago, the RRB administers the over $12.5 billion-a-year benefit programs provided under the Federal Railroad Retirement and Railroad Unemployment Insurance Acts covering the nation’s railroad workforce and their families.
