Academic Convocation
As a Catholic University, founded by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, our mission grounds our study and service towards the pursuit of truth and a deep concern for the common good. Each year, our campus community embraces annual traditions that mark special moments throughout the academic year, such as Convocation.
Convocation takes place at the start of the new academic year, providing a dedicated moment to honor the intellectual life of the university, recognize the research and service of our faculty, welcome new students, and welcome back returning students to our academic community.
