Completing an internship is an important milestone in a student’s professional development. This hands-on experience allows students to confirm or shift direction, network with professionals, gain experience that can be applied to your entry-level career and more. At Dominican, internships are considered to be an incredibly significant experience and available to students in all majors. Students must complete and submit an internship application prior to the start of their internship experience. If you have any questions, please reach out immediately to so the Career Programs team can help you navigate the collection of paperwork necessary to receive academic credit for your internship experience. 

Step one: Connect with a staff member in the Office of Career Programs by emailing

Step two: Complete this Internship Application Form (pdf opens n a new window) that will be sent to you electronically by your contact in Career Programs. 

Step three: Complete the add/drop form with your contact in Career Programs. 

Summer Internships. If you will be completing an internship during the summer, consider applying for the Summer Tuition Internship Grant. Please complete this form (pdf opens in a new window) with your contact in Career Programs.
