Dominican University provides the opportunity for dependent children of faculty and staff to participate in external tuition exchange programs. Participation in tuition exchange programs is available to full-time and part-time 30 staff members. Employees are eligible for tuition exchange after they have been actively employed at the University for a minimum of six (6) months.

The three programs include: The Catholic College Cooperative Tuition Exchange, the Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange Program, and the Tuition Exchange. The receiving institution determines who will or will not receive the tuition exchange award. The websites cited below provide lists of all member institutions and are updated regularly.

New applications to the tuition exchange program require a pre-application form. Continuing tuition exchange participants complete the annual recertification, and continued participation will be based on maintaining active, full-time employment as a faculty member or a full-time or part-time 30 staff member.

Before students apply for admission to a participating institution, employees are encouraged to speak with the admission counselor and/or the Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer (TELO) at the importing institution regarding the Tuition Exchange awarding process, criteria, and application deadlines.

The pre-application and recertification forms are shared via email by the TELO each August and can be made available upon request. Forms should be submitted by September 15 of the year prior to the fall semester for which the student intends to enroll.
