Oak Park and River Forest High School is one of several potential parties interested in purchasing Dominican University's Priory Campus. The university purchased the seven-acre building and grounds 20 years ago and used it for several years for graduate education and to house students. The building also is the site of the Goedert Early Childhood Education Center. However, with the growing popularity of online education, especially at the graduate level, and the concentration of student housing on the Main Campus, the need for space is not as urgent as it once was. As part of its campus master plan, the university has contracted with Jones Lang LaSalle, a commercial real estate firm, to explore options for the property.
