What if I am out of state and not able to come to campus to check out?

We understand the widespread nature of the pandemic across the country and traveling to campus may not be possible particularly for our out of state students.  Please contact Student Life at to make arrangements.

Can someone else come to campus to pack my items?

If you have any local resources (family/friends) that would be able to come to campus to pack your items, please email to provide your permission and make arrangements.

I was approved to stay on campus, will I stay in my current housing assignment?

We will be assessing the occupancy of the residence halls and working to identify residential communities that will align with the guidance of the CDC and IDPH to create a healthy community.   If you are required to move to a more expensive room, your housing rate will not be adjusted.

Will the dining hall be open?

The Dining Hall will be open with limited hours.  The Cyber Café is closed.  Hours will continue to be adjusted over the coming weeks and posted for residents.

Can I have guests in the residence halls?

To help protect the health of the residential community, we are not allowing guests into the residence halls.

I have mail/package in Office Services. How can I get it?

Please contact Office Services to coordinate mail/package delivery.

Are all events/activities cancelled?

While all in person events are canceled, we are working with student organization leaders to develop virtual engagement opportunities to further the mission of their organization and create community among students.

To view these opportunities as they are posted, be sure to follow us on Instagram/Snapchat/Facebook (@dubeinvolved) and on engageDU. Please share these platforms with friends so we can reach as many students as possible with these opportunities.
