In celebration of the Tenth Annual Caesar and Patricia Tabet Poetry Reading, the Tabet Family brings back the inaugural poet, Li-Young Lee.
The son of Chinese exiles, Lee’s five books of poetry contain influences from classical Chinese poets and Christianity to the Wu Tang Clan. His widely anthologized poem “Persimmons” is just one of many award-winning poems in this scintillating speaker’s portfolio.
This reading is made possible through the generous support of Dominican University alumna Patricia Tabet ’52. Co-presented by the St. Catherine of Siena Center and the English Department of Dominican University’s Rosary College of Arts and Sciences.
