Professor Jeffrey Sachs is a world-renowned economics professor, bestselling author, innovative educator, and global leader in sustainable development. Sachs serves as the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, where he is also University Professor. He is President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and a commissioner of the UN Broadband Commission for Development. He will speak on his most recent book The Ages of Globalization: Geography, Technology, and Institutions and offer connections to the present moment in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
