Please note: due to COVID-19, each participant is only allowed one guest. Further, masks must be worn at all times on campus.

Join us for a tour of our beautiful campus led by our Student Ambassadors. After the tour, participants will be able to meet with an admission counselor. Each tour is 60 minutes in duration.

SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration)

The Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program is designed to welcome you into the Dominican University community. SOAR helps you discover the tools needed to be a successful Dominican student both inside and outside the classroom.

Attending SOAR is required for all new undergraduate students—incoming first-years and transfers—whether you'll live on campus or commute. Space is limited and registrations may close before the deadline, so please make your arrangements to attend the entire program early.

School of Information Studies Virtual Information Session

Discover what is Distinctly Dominican about our School of Information Studies degree programs: the ALA-accredited Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM), the Master of Arts in Youth Literature (MAYL), the Doctor of Philosophy in Library and Information Science (PhD) and various certificate opportunities including archives and cultural heritage resources and services, informatics, data and knowledge management, digital librarianship, digital curation, youth services, web design, and the Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement (K-12) in the concentration area of Library Information Specialist.

School of Information Studies Canvas Workshop

Ever wonder what it's like to take a hybrid or online course in the School of Information Studies (SOIS)? This workshop will demonstrate Canvas, the Dominican University Learning Management System (LMS), and also discuss the portfolio of SOIS programs. During the workshop, participants will be shown how Canvas is utilized by Dominican faculty and staff. Additionally, the workshop will cover the various programs offered by SOIS.
