Virtual Information Sessions

Discover what is Distinctly Dominican about the School of Information Studies degree programs: the ALA-accredited Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM), the Master of Arts in Youth Literature (MAYL), the Doctor of Philosophy in Library and Information Science (PhD) and various certificate opportunities including archives and cultural heritage resources and services, informatics, data and knowledge management, digital librarianship, digital curation, youth services, web design, and the Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement (K-12) in the concentration area of Library Information Specialist.

Canvas Course Workshop

Ever wonder what it's like to take a hybrid or online course in the School of Information Studies (SOIS)? This workshop will demonstrate Canvas, the Dominican University Learning Management System (LMS), and also discuss the portfolio of SOIS programs. During the workshop, participants will be shown how Canvas is utilized by Dominican faculty and students. Additionally, the workshop will cover the various programs offered by SOIS.

Virtual Information Sessions

All prospective students are encouraged to attend a School of Social Work information session to learn more about Dominican’s globally focused and family-centered curriculum, international and domestic field placement opportunities, financing options, and program structures for our Master of Social Work degree as well as our certificate programs. Attendees will receive an application fee waiver.
