Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)
We have a 116-year tradition of helping people reach beyond themselves, seek greater opportunities and make them happen. As a part of that commitment, we ensure transferring to Dominican is as seamless as possible.
That's why Dominican University is a participant in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), which allows students to follow a general education core curriculum (GECC) that transfers smoothly from over 100 participating schools into all of the 50+ undergraduate programs at Dominican. That means more of your courses transfer to Dominican so you can finish faster.
You may qualify for the IAI/GECC Articulation Agreement if the majority of the general education core has been completed prior to transferring. All other transfer credit will be evaluated on an individual basis.
