Dominican University offers group visits to high schools, community colleges and community-based organizations. During your visit you will hear from an Admission Counselor about the admission and financial aid process, academic opportunities and student life. After the presentation, our current students will take you on a tour of our beautiful campus. Due to COVID-19, Virtual Group Visits are available for groups.

Plan Your Visit
  • In order to best accommodate you, please submit requests at least two weeks in advance.
  • In Person/On Campus Group Visits are offered Monday–Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please allow at least 90 minutes for your visit.
  • Virtual Group Visits are offered Monday-Thursday at 10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please allow one hour for your virtual visit, which will include an admission and financial aid presentation, virtual campus tour and student panel.

  • Please note Dominican University is unable to sponsor meals on campus; if you would like for your group to have a meal in our Dining Hall, please contact us to discuss the dining options during the visit.

Group Visit Policies
  • Dominican University is able to accommodate groups of 10–40 students.
  • During the fall semester, group visits are limited to junior and senior students who meet our minimum admission requirements of a 2.75/4.0 GPA.
  • During the spring semester, we are able to host all high school students who meet the minimum admission requirements.
  • All middle school group visits requests are preferred to take place during the summer months May-August.
  • Group visits are required to provide at least 1 adult for every 10 students.
  • The Office of Undergraduate Admission asks that there is only one visit per school or organization each year.
  • Group visits can be scheduled Monday through Thursday.
