Post Baccalaureate Premedical BMS Program

The pre-medical program is considered a bachelor's degree program. Students accepted into this program may receive aid in the form of federal loans if they qualify. The maximum combined federal loan (unsubsidized or subsidized) that can be taken by a student in the post-baccalaureate premedical program is $12,500 per academic year. There are no additional grants or scholarships available for this program.

Federal Stafford Loans

To apply for the federal Stafford loan, you must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.

The lifetime aggregate loan limits for undergraduate students are: $31,000 for dependent students and $57,500 for independent students. Once you have reached those amounts, you are no longer eligible to borrow Stafford loans as an undergraduate.

Private Loans

Students who need additional funds to meet their cost of attendance can apply for private education loans.
