Dear Class of 2021,

I write to you with more details regarding the upcoming commencement weekend, May 6-9, 2021.

Regalia orders should be placed immediately by visiting this website. Orders may take up to three weeks to ship to your home so please plan accordingly. Regalia is required for students participating in the Candle and Rose Ceremony on Saturday, May 8th. Regalia is optional for students participating in the virtual Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 9th.

Candle and Rose Next Steps
The in-person Candle and Rose Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 8th. While Candle and Rose will be held in person, COVID-19 mitigation strategies will be in place, including no guests on campus and no reception following the ceremony. Your Rose is invited to the ceremony and allowed on campus. The Candle and Rose ceremony will be streamed live for families and friends.

Please fill out the sign up form to tell us who your Rose will be. This form is due April 15th.

The Commencement Ceremony will be held virtually on Sunday, May 9, at 1:00 p.m.  We have partnered with an external company, Full Measure, to help create this experience in a way that honors our Dominican mission and values.

You will receive communications (both emails and text messages) with details on signing up and how to submit a photo so we can celebrate each one of you. The first text message went out on Thursday, April 8th with a link that starts with "flmsr.io"  and leads you to the Dominican page with Full Measure.

If you did not see that text message, you can submit your information through this link: https://flmsr.io/tBBsPt7Z68w  You will need to include your student ID # to match to your record.  Only submit one time please.

You will be prompted to upload a photo.  It can be ANY photo from your photo roll.  It does not need to be the photo with one of the social media filters.

The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 15th.

As a reminder, below is an outline of the Commencement Weekend events. More information can be found at Dominican's Commencement website.
