Dominican’s graphic identity is designed to convey a sense of the university’s mission, character and style to the greater public. When used consistently and cohesively, Dominican’s official logo, colors, typefaces, photos, letterhead and other elements reinforce a distinctive university image and depict a strong, unified institution.

As a member of the Dominican community, you help tell our story every day to the people who matter most—our current and prospective students, alumni, peers and friends. That’s why we need your help in ensuring the consistency and strength of our graphic identity.

Here are some resources to help you make sure your communications are representing us correctly:

  • Policies and guidelines. The brand quick guide (pdf) is your go-to resource for information on how to correctly utilize our logos, colors and other graphic elements. Please adhere to these guidelines for all printed collateral as well as online platforms including websites, blogs and social media. University communicators and external consultants are required to follow our graphic identity in all communication.
  • Stationary and letterhead. If you’re sending correspondence digitally, OMC offers branded e-letterhead for your use. Please email omc@dom.edu for a copy of the correct template for your area. If you need pre-printed letterhead, please see below for ordering instructions.
  • Business cards and printed office supplies. Full-time faculty and staff can order branded business cards, envelopes, notepads and pre-printed letterhead here.
  • Presentations. Branded PPT and email templates are available for your use. You can download a template here.
  • Promotional items. If your department or unit is interested in ordering branded promotional items, please email omc@dom.edu with a budget and specific details to initiate an order.
  • Flyers and print collateral. OMC is happy to design brand-compliant collateral to meet your needs. Please initiate a request by filling a request form at least one month in advance of your deadline.
  • Social media. OMC offers the Dominican community best practices to leverage social media for the benefit of the institution. Be sure to reference our Social Media Policy for more detail on how official accounts should be created, used and maintained as well as helpful guidelines for accounts that fall outside OMC's purview.

The Dominican brand reflects our history, traditions and culture. It’s our strength and power. It's our community. It’s who we are. Thank you for all you do to help us support and communicate our brand both on and off our campus.
