Because of the extraordinary circumstances facing us as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, Dominican University has decided to cancel the Trustee Benefit Concert + Gala, scheduled for this Saturday, March 14th.

We did not arrive at this decision lightly. The Trustee Benefit Concert + Gala is the single most important fundraising event of the year for Dominican University. The proceeds raised on this one evening provide scholarship support that has made the difference in the lives of hundreds of Dominican students. Their ability to study at Dominican is because of the generosity of Gala supporters. But these are extraordinary days, and we take the health and welfare of our guests, staff, and students very seriously. Out of the utmost concern for everyone’s well-being, we have decided it is most prudent to cancel.

We sincerely hope that you will continue in your generous support of Dominican students. Thank you for your sponsorship support and donations, which are now fully tax-deductible. For questions about this, or to request a refund, please contact Sara Acosta at 708-524-6288 or sacosta@dom.edu.

The University community is closely monitoring the situation regarding this outbreak, and pray it will be over soon. We wish you and your loved ones good health, now and always.

Thank you again for your support.

Sincerely,

2019's Benefit Concert + Gala

In 2019, attendees were delighted by the talents of Under the Streetlamp, who delivered an electrifying evening of classic rock n' roll hits. Attendees also applauded the stunning accomplishments of The Grant Park Music Festival. The generous contributions from supporters and benefactors give talented students the opportunity for a life-changing education.
