Diverse boards expand a company’s ability to adapt to the changing multicultural landscape, but corporate America has long struggled to populate major boards with women and minorities. Despite increased attention that diversity of gender, ethnicity, and age may correlate to great innovation, many large companies have been slow to adopt change.

A panel of leading corporate and governance professionals will discuss the topic and definition of diversity, why it matters, what it means for companies and stakeholders, and future trends.

Noted corporate governance expert Charles Elson, the Edgar S. Woolard Chair in Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware, will serve as moderator.
