Academic Information
Academic advisors are available each weekday and on Monday and Thursday evenings until 7 p.m. in the Office of the Dean of Rosary College of Arts and Sciences, as well as the Office of Academic Advising.
The normal course load during the summer is 6 to 8 semester hours each summer session. In an exceptional case, it may be advisable for a student to take more than the normal load. In such a case, the student needs the approval of the Dean of Rosary College of Arts and Sciences.
Courses with insufficient enrollment may be canceled.
There will be no classes on
- Memorial Day, May 25 for Summer Session I
- Independence Day, July 4 for Summer Session III
Add/Drop/Withdrawal Procedures
Students may add or drop courses during the first week of classes in each summer session by submitting a drop/add/withdrawal form to the Office of the Registrar.
Students may withdraw on or before:
- June 22 for Summer Session I
- August 15 for Summer Session II
To withdraw, students must file a completed drop/add/withdrawal form with the Office of the Registrar. Ceasing to attend the class or simply informing the instructor or anyone else of one's intention to withdraw is not an official withdrawal. Failure to withdraw officially will result in an 'F' for the course.
